Go Go Access
Accessy is a digital access platform that enables users to unlock doors with a simple tap of their phone. Designed to streamline entry for tenants, businesses, and private consumers, the platform and app help real estate owners reduce the complexity and cost of managing physical keys while enhancing convenience and security.
Accessy’s product and design team sought external expertise to reimagine their brand and mobile app, aiming to strengthen their visual language and appeal. With an internal team responsible for implementation, their primary goal was to receive fresh ideas and concepts to guide their future development. As a digital-first company, they needed a refreshed brand look and app design that prioritized digital platforms while reflecting Accessy’s core values of simplicity and accessibility.
As the lead and sole designer on the project, I conducted an in-depth competitive analysis and facilitated brand workshops to uncover key design aspirations. Building on these insights, I reimagined the brand’s look and feel, redesigning the app and its user experience while seamlessly integrating the new visual overhaul.

Construct of the updated logo mark.
The logo's visual refresh stemmed from a desire to create a rounder and more friendly aesthetic that better reflects Accessy's core promise of smooth and seamless access.
The updated logo, with its fuller and rounder appearance, reenforces the idea of smooth and swift access. The capital A allows the logo to work without the mark alongside it.
The updated color palette injects fresh energy into Accessy while staying true to its legacy. Bright green infuses the brand with a younger and more energetic feel while reinforcing its connection to access.
Bringing the brand to life beyond the screen. Extending the visual overhaul into stickers, apparel, and merchandise creates playful touchpoints that reinforce the brand’s modern and youthful expression.

The collaboration with Accessy highlighted the importance of aligning the brand and product side in the design process. By reimagining Accessy's look and feel while in parallel reimagine the app experience I was able to delivering something that would work from the inside and out.
The competitive analysis and brand workshop played a key role in uncovering the Accessy team’s design aspirations, ensuring that the final concept fully resonated with everyone at Accessy – both on the business and product side. On a personal level, the project provided an opportunity to refine my skills in facilitating and planning workshops, while also allowing me to reengage with UI animation.

An eight column grid acts as the foundation of the desktop version of the website.
The updated logo, with its fuller and rounder appearance, reenforces the idea of smooth and swift access. The capital A allows the logo to work without the mark alongside it.
The name Ascent, “the act of rising or mounting upward”, is captured by the upward trajectory of the arrow in the logo mark. It symbolizes the pursuit of higher ground to gain clarity — the very essence of the Ascent platform.
The idea driving the concept of the packaging was one of simplicity — ensuring it didn't overshadow the card's essence.
